That's just mainstream rap though. there are a lot of other rap artists who do have an actual message in the music, but as far as the mainstream crap, I agree with you. it is highly overrated, but in a way it's just another form of manufactured pop. fake, manufactured musicians with no real originality or talent other than something that allows them to be marketed like a toy to kids who simply look for a catchy tune and don't put any emphasis on substance.

their overated you have all those kids going "im so bad ass" and walkin around with the skull and going "danzigs hardcore" it pisses me off .Thyeve only heard Die my darling Its all cause of metallica covering die my darling they did a bad job to.

Velvet Revolver which is one of the suckiest bands

Bands like Rage Against the Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers can never get too many ratings. they freaking rock.

I hate the White Stripes. And if it weren't for the fact that I already promised to put nine clips in 50 cent I'd give them 12 clips.

The Distillers.
The Donnas who are geared more so towards 16 year old boys who's voice either hasn't finished changing or who's voice is just beginning to change. And if it weren't for the fact that I ahve so much hate for Pearl jam I'd buy a poster of theirs adn use it as a dart board. But as it is between my hate for Pearl Jam, Avril lavigne and Britney Spears my walls are cluttered with posters of these three anti music people and people who I actually like.
Just thinking about it makes me wanan bring out my super big Britney Spears poster.

This subject is getting me rather excited with anger and rage. I should probably leave this thread before I do something stupid.

ac/dc...hmmmm, i like maximum of 2 songs. black and black and..cant remember the name of the other one. U2 are incredibly overrated i think. by the sound of things bonos gonna be the next pope.
