i disagree with people that said slipknot or korn. slipknot's new album sucks hairy balls, but the albums Slipknot and Iowa were sweet. Korn's problem now is that they were stuck under the Epic label, and the execs there were ****ing with their music. their last cd under the Epic label was their Greatest Hits cd. I also think that Head was holding them back, and now that he's quit the band they are going to go back to their roots with their new CD that's coming out in september. anywho, back on topic, most over rated bands ever:

I agree with your mention of Coldplay as overrated. They bore me rigid. Someone gave me the CD before X&Y. I listened to it, one tune was OK. The rest complete and utter miserable plop. Usually if I get a CD I don't like I just leave it on the shelf and forget about it. Not with Coldplay CD. I threw it over my back fence onto the train track. It was burned CD. If it was original I would have sold it to someone.
It was great watching a CD fly through the air.
In fairness I've not heard the latest album.

I cant see how people like coldplay eather. Its like music you play on a rainy day before you die

Hey adidasss, Your Top! *grinning from ear 2 ear* Don't get too upset that I destroyed the coldplay CD, It was a pirate copy anyway. Chris Martin & his mates will be chuffed that I've rid the streets of an illicit article. One thing I can say that I like about coldplay, is the name. It does just as it says on the tin. When I play a tune by them it leaves me cold.

overrated, underrated...its all subjective...really in my opinion no one is truely overrated...people can do a lot of overstating for their favorite bands...weither its the beatles,the stones,floyd,the who,zep,hendrix or nirvana...thing is they are still talented artists, and they deserve a lot of the attention and acclaim they get, regardless if other people agree or not...there are a lot of talented bands out there who get reconition because they deserve it, just because you may not like them does not make them overrated, so again, its all subjective...anyway, that being said...id go with green day. :confused:
