that's what I was referring to... how sad, he can't just act like a grieving father for a few weeks.

So you don't believe in mourning the loss of anyone?

I bet you make a lot of friends at funerals then.

"Can we go now? He's dead, who cares? People die all the time."

It's a different senario at funerals.

He'll be in a more upbeat mood because he gets free buffet at the wake.

...followed by an accidental spillage of beer, followed by a mass brawl.

Fun for all the family.

So you wouldn't be bummed if your favorite band just died in a freak accident?

I've been a fan of Jackson's music for a very long time.

I remember playing his Moonwalker game for the Sega Genesis when I was just a wee lad, he was a childhood icon for me, I mean, I thought he really could turn into a giant robot, and what's more awesome that that for an 8 year old?

I didn't know anything about the whole child abuse trial thing, and looking back on it that didn't really matter.

I still love his music, some of it connects with me in a rather emotional way. So Yeah, I didn't know him, but his music as with many other artists has given me much joy in life.

So it did kinda have an effect on me, I can't lie.
