he caused Michael to be great and terrible. I always had a sneaking suspicion that Michael was g a y (big shock right?) and he just couldn't admit to it, mainly because of his father. The child allegations were so believable because you never saw the guy with a man and when he was with a woman you didn't believe it. It's a great shame he had to live in so much more of a bubble then he really had to, he was too sensitive of a person to be able to deal with a father like he had. I think the world needed to make sense out of the fact Michael didn't seem to have any sexual intentions or desires towards either sex and the child thing made sense. Michael also caused a lot of his own issues, he would release absurd stories about himself to the press just for the hell of it, then when the stories kept coming without his doing he realized he didn't like it... well, you can't keep feeding the beast and then complain when it gets hungry again.
