It's not even about their music aging well it's about their massive influence all loads of future artists.

yes they have but not in the way Public Enemy has. I feel like because they came out before Wu they were pioneers at their time so they have been around longer to be influential to more artists.

I guess that shouldn't be a factor but imo it is.

There would be no sense in making a poll if we were picking artists based on objective values.

but we are picking the artists based on whatever personal reason

I choose to do it from objective values while you and others pick from a personal enjoyment stand of view.

That is fine. The point of the poll is to be casual so you could vote for the artist you like for w/e reason. I am just pointing out the reason why I voted for who I voted for.
