Growing up half-Jewish this is the single most accurate thing I've ever read. My Jewish grandma when introducing me to people would always explain their importance and/or relationship to me. And if someone was a convert, that was the first thing she'd say to me. And since I don't have a Jewish father I was never really aloud to truly be a member of the jewish community. In some ways Judaism is great and in other ways it's a pile of dog ****.

It's complicated. A convert means the growing of the religion but it also means inviting in an outsider. Do you get what I'm saying at all?

yes its good to have a larger demographic but still they are considered outsiders, yes?

But honestly, no matter how bad Christianity and Islam are, they actively seek to convert the heathen, whereas Judaism could care less, cause those people are less than human or whatever. I'd rather live under a Jewish dictatorship, just because they would demand less of me, but it would be like having a family that didn't care whether or not I failed at life. At least the Christians and Muslims care, even if I'd rather they didn't.

you make it sound like jewish people look down on non-jewish people. which from the jewish people that i have known throughout my life, is the furthest from the truth. i don't much about the religion itself though. and i don't really know any religious jews so again... i'm not sure about this from a religious perspective.

This is a hard subject to describe. Cause of all the converts I've met, I only ever knew one outside of my grandmother. And she is such a vile horrible woman that I can't blame anyone for the mistreatment of her.

This is a little unfair. They don't see you as less than human. It's that they've created a nice community and don't care to expand. If you want to join, whatever. If you don't, whatever.

lol in islam it is sooo different. people have so much respect for converts. because like how the **** would put themselves through this **** with their own free will?
