Weird by SUN RA standards?
What is it, neo-atmostpheric-avantprog-free jazz?

Anyway, I downloaded this:

It's an afro! It's a mustache!
It's...
Manduka's self-titled debut!
Ridiculously smooth male and female vocals with Brazilian guitar melodies and percussion. Sweet stuff.

My last were Mudvayne's "A New Game" and their self titled. I almost walked out of the store without them. I was just browsing, saw them, thought about making a purchase, decided not to, walked away, thought some more, said "why not!?", walked back, grabbed them and took them to the counter. They're good enough for me to honestly say that I don't regret that decision. I'll probably be buying Skeletonwitch's "Breathing the Fire" and The Red Chord's "Fed Through the Teeth Machine" very soon also.

Villagers - Becoming A Jackal

Good Indie-Pop album from what I can tell so far, some really good songs on it. I've only heard it the once though so there's a lot of room for it to grow on me. Big thanks to Mojo for this album

this is some wild stuff. it's based on electromagnetic readings amassed by the Voyager I and II space probes, which has been transformed into sound. it's definitely worth checking out if you enjoy dark ambient.

I just started listening to him again. What a voice for rainy days.

They have a new album out, so if you like Post Nothing you should check it out. It's not as good as Post Nothing, but still full of crazy fuzzed out guitar energy.

If you're talking about No Singles, that's just a collection of previously released songs from EPs and stuff. My hopes were up for something new.

That makes so much more sense...no wonder it isn't as solid as Post Nothing.

Hm...thanks for the info.
