Each to their own, but I cannot stand this, it's just trite. It lacks any real depth and ambition, unfortunately British music is full of this kind of stuff at the moment.

Spoiler for NSFW:

Afghan Whigs - Congregation (1992)

My second Afghan Whigs album and I'm enjoying it. The vocalist takes a little while to get use to and some of the songs seem like filler, but overall I'm enjoying this band. Definitely prefer this album to Up In It (1990).

Those were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head, I'm sure there were more.
I don't really like Accept all that much but I will dig around for the others. Cheers

If it sells you any further, Charred Walls of the Damned is made up by Steve DiGiorgio, Richard Christy, and Tim "Ripper" Owens. Pretty much the heavy metal equivalent of Velvet Revolver, except you know, with a future.

You haven't really sold me there lol. Velvet Revolver are awful! Actually I think I have heard a Charred Walls Of The Damned track and couldn't stand it.

I didn't mean soundwise, but a band that is 75% made up of notable members of the music community and 1 nobody.

Black Dog Productions - Bytes.

Totally blowing me away. So far it's up there with the best I've heard in IDM

Language Of Flowers - Songs About You (2004)
A now defunct indie-pop band originally from Northern Ireland that I stumbled across. The music is solid enough but does lean towards generic at times, to really stand out when playing this sort of music you really have to have the songs. But still there's some good songs on this and some nice pop melodies shine through from time to time, but the album does kind of die away towards the end, would have made a pretty good EP I think. Also I can never say no to chiming 12-string Rickenbacker guitars and these are sometimes combined with distorted guitars to good effect. Still worth the investigation.
