Andy Stott - Faith in Strangers (2014)

Requires attention. I recommend this in a quiet place, maybe with assistance.

Yep. Sounds freaky and cool like any Animal Collective album.
I cannot stand them. Sorry, darling, but they just leave me -- not even cold. They leave me irritated.

Animal Collective - Sung Tongs

After loving Spirit They're Gone Spirit They've Vanished I've now decided to check out another AnCo album. Pretty good so far.

I know. You hate all the things.

Hookworms - Pearl Mystic (2013)

I'm not sure what makes certain music "psychedelic". If one is having a psychedelic experience and listening to his favorite music, doesn't that music, whatever it might be, become psychedelic?

Yes, this often puzzles me. A psychedelic experience would be so whatever the music playing to accompany it. If the term is supposed to approximate music that sounds like one is having a psychedelic experience while (relatively) sober, then I find it to be a meaningless term, both because psychedelic experiences are so very individual that nothing is likely to sound alike to any two "trippers" and because I have never found music to sound appreciably different no matter my mental state.

However, I do find that my tolerance for irritating music drops, so I suppose there is that.

Too Many Zooz - Brasshouse Vol. 1: Survival of the Flyest

They dropped this today, listening now. So far so good, a little heavier on the house element than Fanimals or F Note. You can find it here.
