I downloaded Relayer last year and it slowly grew on me. I saw it in a record store a month ago and didn't even hesitate to buy it. I borrowed my High School's record player (no one uses it anymore) and played Gates of Delirium and I just sat there staring at the included lyrics (I don't really read lyrics when I'm casually listening to iTunes or such). Brilliant song writing.

![]() Rush-Grace Under Pressure I have always liked Rush but for some weird reason, I've never given a proper listen of all their stuff yet. Great album imo. Best song- Distant Early Warning. Other favorites-Afterimage, Red Sector, Between The Wheels. ![]() Pelican-Pelican(EP) If you like Isis, you'll love this one. Has four tracks with a total playing time of 30mins. 10/10...Awesome EP! ![]() Zero Hour-Dark Deceiver Technical Progressive metal at its best! One of the best metal albums I've heard so far this year. Sounds like Spiral Architect and Pain Of Salvation combined(clean vocals). Favorites-The passion of words, The temple within, Inner Spirit, Power to Believe. 9/10. I've even posted a DL link in 2008 suggestion box if anyone is interested ![]() Last edited by Demonoid : 05-14-2008 at 11:27 AM. |

I love love love that Pelican album. I listen to it on long road trips and it seems to make the drive go by much faster.
As for albums I'm all over right now, I'm still enamored with Eels - Useless Trinkets. I've always been a huge Eels fan, so having all the b-sides and rarities on one album really excited me. I'm digging the new Nine Inch Nails, which I feel isn't super duper, but it's still a solid listen. Lastly, I've been listening to Sigur Ros a lot lately; mostly Takk and ( ). I think it's because the weather is getting nice, and I've always felt that they are great outdoorsy enjoying the sun music. |

![]() Rinse 01 - Geeneus. This was my first proper introduction to grime and dubstep. You can't knock Geeneus' song choices, or his mixing. Dark dark compilation. ![]() Our Favourite Shop - The Style Council. Due to the brutal bashing Weller recieved, this is the first I've listened to this album and I have to say I'm impressed. I'd like to see others come out of being the 'social class' commentator and go on to something as diverse as this.
