I don't mind Tool but I don't consider them particularly groundbreaking and unfortunately their influence seems to be only on a lot of really awful bands so they get the no vote from me.

Skilled musicians I can agree with but almost all bands have skilled musicians. Have a lot to offer beyong their music? C'mon. Like what?
