Yep, that series never did much for me.

I love to play the 3D Zeldas (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skywards Sword) because they are to me the most adventurous games I could play. I am addicted to adventuring and tend to play the Zelda series over and over again.

I think people who really like Zelda (who doesn't?) would also like Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. They are a bit similar to the Zelda games in that there are places and things you can't do until you get that one extra item which suddenly opens up more of the world. You sometimes also have that room by room sort of progress.

Plus, they're absolutely brilliant.

Shoulda gone with Saint's Row, mate. GTA IV is a good game, until you get to the end and realize that all the extra stuff and ridiculously large sandbox world of San Andreas isn't there, so there nothing else to do. **** taking GTA more seriously. The great thing about it was that it was ludicrous.

I never finished Saints Row 3, but I felt GTA IV seemed more compelling story-wise. Plus, I actually like that the city and its characters feel more real.

I remember loving the story in GTA3 / Vice City.

I absolutely hated GTA4's story, it was so trite. Perhaps I was spoiled by The Sopranos or something.

I loved GTA IV, but then again I'm easy to please.

I haven't played Saints Row 3 yet, but the first two have replaced GTA as my goto game. The gameplay is better (seriously, the crosshairs are so much better than the autoaim), your character and cars can be customized to the point of absurdity, and the missions are just gloriously over the top. I never gave a **** about whether or not GTA's storyline was compelling. It's a game about stealing cars, killing cops, and driving around looking for hookers. Who cares bout it's storyline?
