Default Where did all the real ones go?

If there's one thing in the world I miss it's sincerity.
With the onset of age and the constant pressure to have more of nothing for the sake of unimpressive images something as queer as
the earnest affection of another human is something to guard with the ferocity of interstellar cosmic events.

Left unanswered for two years, the thread title takes on the aspect of a cry for help in the wilderness, or is that just my imagination? Anyway, given that lack of attention, I feel this is a pretty appropriate clip, by a singer/songwriter who was as sincere as they come, and sounded it too:-

I <3 it. Seems like it came from a place of great personal truth. Wish it was longer!

GuD, keep at it! Post more if you can!

They're still here. We're just too busy paying attention to the fake ones that we fail to recognize the real ones.

@ [MERIT]: I'm glad you like the song! Nick Drake was a master of that rare combination: gentle, soothing and bleak. http://www.musicbanter.com/country-f...on-thread.html
@ Exo: Ah, the tender, bleeding heart of MB
@ Sixty_9: I haven't seen you here before, but at 16 posts in 10 months, that not surprising! Where in Africa are you from?
@ Everyone: Any other artists who are sincere, sound sincere, and sound good too? That's three hurdles they have to jump to get into the Nick Drake league!

With a screen name like "Sixty_9" I'm gonna go with Chad.
