Ad the percentage obviously wasnt exact, it was to make a point.

edit: Theres what.. maybe 20-30 songs that have been big radio songs from them. Thats a pretty small amount compared to what they have made. And they have had a few hundred actually released studio songs.
Jimi Hendrix has what, 2 charting singles, yet he's very mainstream.

Indeed. Charts don't always decide what is mainstream. Fiona Apple was very mainstream but she had only one charting song. Her album sold millions because the music videos were so popular.

I know, but I jumped in at the end of the convo, so I just thought I would point out not everything mainstream is on the charts.
