Anyone else heard Suede's new album Bloodsports? It is a breath of fresh air!

I think Bloodsports is one of the better album released so far this year. They sure took their time making it... it's been 11 years since Suede put out an album.

20 years ago Suede was supposed to be the next big thing out of Great Britain but Blur, Oasis, and Radiohead stole their thunder in the United States. The fact that they had to rebrand themselves as "London Suede" in the United States because of a copyright lawsuit, created a lot of confusion about the identity of the band.

Love the album, and saw them live last night. They definitely still have it! Brett Anderson is still as charismatic in 2013 as 1993

I listened to it a couple months ago and rather enjoyed it. They're on my lists of artists I need to hear more of (I really need to get through their back catalogue).

I've got to agree that Suede killed it with "Bloodsports". The new guitarist must have been into Bernard Butler.

Back in their 90s heyday I only knew Suede from their hits like Animal Nitrate, Trash and The Beautiful Ones. I loved 'em all but for some reason never picked up an album of theirs.

Much later, I got their singles collection from 2003 or so and loved almost every single song on it!

Not sure whether to get the new one as I don't even have the classic albums with me. That Singles disc is top notch though!
