Making A New Account, After Your Other One Recieved a Perma Ban
 

Well, there was a time on MusicBanter, when we had a young lad named THE GOLDEN STRING, he was banned for: making pointless comments, insulting and otherwise.

THE GOLDEN STRING returned before his 2 Week Ban expired under the account PATROH. At first we were all fooled, and believed them to be seperate people. Over time, we realized that they were one in the same.

THE GOLDEN STRING had commited an unthinkable act. He created a new account, after his previous account was banned. In punishment for this act, we banned both of his accounts permanently.

I believe that this was a fair course of action. He deserved what he got. He was banned, yet he defied the mods and returned. Now I have a single question for all of you, and especially you mods:

madeinNY's original account was Hoffa For President. Now, unless I am missing something (which I'm not) the Hoffa account recieved a permanent ban, a rather serious punishment, not to be taken lightly. I know this because I have seen that accounts posts, and still the user tiitle reads "Account Disabled"

But, bye and bye, a month later, madeinNY emerges. Not telling us that she was Hoffa, we were led to belive that she was another person, a seperate one. Why, I ask, is it okay for Hoffa to defy the mods, and create an account after her previous one was banned, and not be punished, but when THE GOLDEN STRING does the EXACT same thing, he recieves a permanent ban on both accounts? Is that justice? You decide.

Me and Hookers and AITA sorted this out.

Well, in my opinion, there is nothing to sort out. Was THE GOLDEN STRING ever given a chance to work it out with 2 mods. No. He was banned immediatly upon discovery. What makes you different?

This thread is serious, and was meant to be taken seriously. Why are you granted these privlages of having a perma ban lifted, when all you have done is be a greater problem. TGS was a much more insightful, intelligent poster, and would have brought heaps more to the forum than you do. But yet you get your ban lifted? That is not fair.

Well since it is a thread about me personally I'm under the impression I'm allowed to give my two cents.

You have not given any reasonable insight. You have spammed. Which is why you need to be gone. You got a Permanent Ban, they don't just give those on a whim, you have to really earn them. You obviously earned that ban, but in a shocking feat of cowardice, your ban was retrackted. I do not see the logic, nor the justice in that.

Then please, enlighten me as to why your ban was forgiven. It never should have been. Any attempt that you made to resolve this issue, and have your ban removed, was never given to TGS. He was banned mercilessly, though it was justified. Your unabnning is not justified. You spam constantly, you cause almost daily, unneeded drama, you fill our forum with pointless threads, and completely fail to contribute to the worthy ones.

If you hadn't been Hoffa in the past, you still need to be banned. What do you contribute? You have little knowledge of music, your social skills are...lacking. You are an attention whore, and there is no need for you here. The fact that you were Hoffa in the past only boldeneds my point in believing that your banning is long overdue.

If I deserved banning now, I trust the mods are smart enough, and would've done so already. You on the other hand seem to have little faith in their judgement...

You are correct, I have little faith in many of the mods judgement. Though I am sure that at least one mod has enough sense to realize that what is going on is un-justified. You were given a permanent ban. You defied the order, and returned under a different username. This is the exact same situation that TGS found himself in, but he wasn't given the chance that you were. Why? He only recieved a 2 week ban. You recieved a permanent one. Logic would tell me that what you did was worse, yet you remain. That maks no sense. Should I come out and say that I completely trust the mods judgement? I refuse. Many of the mods I do respect them, and their judgement. Others, I do not. Tell me, how you deserve to be here.

i'm not really picking up for anyone.. i don;t know what happened for lex to come back.. and i dont' really care its non of my business. but your going on about how she should still be banned..not aloud back here..but you inslut people all of the time, you pick fights all of the time.. and just to put it simple and real personal, you are a jerk to most people on here, you show lack of respect for anyone... why weren't kept banned???

It is that notion then, that I disagree with. I have the backing of other members in making this thread. The fact that Hookers said you could be here, is not a good reason. Why, did he let you stay? And whatever your answer to that question may be, ask yourself: Was that chance given to TGS? The answer is no. He was banned immediatly, and, I am sure that if he returned today, declared himself, and acted as you do, he would be banned on the spot. This is not fair. You DO NOT deserve to be here. You were banned permanently 1 time already, I never thought that there would be an instance where a permanent ban would need to be given twice. That just shows that not even the mods, trust the mods judgement. And that is sad.

Ive been talked to for my behavior alot, and if it happens again ill be talked to again. How I act has nothing to do with madeinNY being banned, if someone else made this topic would you reply the same? No, you wouldnt attacking me doesn't answer the question on why shes staying just like "im special" doesn't. Her banning is long overdue and all she does is spam and waste bandwith.

what i said has nothing to do with picking up for her.. i'm just stating what i think and know is true.. she does nothing really wrong..

she gets banned for spamming.. ok and other reasons that don't really cause harm..

yet you and others can go on forever and cause fights and personal attack people and get away with it.. that is not fair no matter how much you try and make this all about her and how she should be banned..

She should be banned for:

Being banned in the past, but defying that and coming back. Simple as that
