The sheer scale of the classical period is daunting at first, but you could simply start with Bach as the giant of the Baroque period, then move into the prime time interval with the giants of the field, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky etc. and finish with Shostakovich/Stravinsky/Rachmaninoff. Then UberFilmBuff could add the modern composers whose music was predominantly used in films and that brings us right up to date. Just a thought, this introduction thread is a very good idea.

Of course having Seltzer involved in this would add the gravitas necessary to get more people to actually check it out.

What is the timetable involved Lucifer,,,when would we have to have our part completed? I'm only asking because I'm really busy with work and before I commit to your intro threads I want to be sure I could get everything done. Oh and I'm not sure if Seltzer or Kevorkian Logic both declined to do classical or not, let me know, I don't want to step on anybodies toes.

All of them Go for Discharge. I prefer G.B.H but Discharge is more relavent. I would remove Circle Jerks.

Kevorkian Logic requested I remove her name. You can collaborate with Seltzer if you'd like - that would be awesome, as classical is a VERY large genre with many different movements. I'm sure there's plenty of work.
