Member Interviews (effect, members, quote, Inci)

An Idea I have to strengthen the community aspect of the site;

Member interviews.

Threads featuring moderately extensive Interviews of Willing Members posted for all to see and comment on.

Paint a better of picture of the people we are talking with.

I as much as anyone value my anonymity online but I don't see something like this as an infringement.

It's a raw idea, any thoughts guys?

Maybe do a mock post in here to gauge the effectiveness or merits. Sounds OK in principal. All depends on the questions asked I suppose.

The Saturday Six Pack has worked quite well so maybe this is worth a shot.

But yeah, a mock post would be good, just to see what we're dealing with.

Ideally you'd pick an interviewer (not always the same person) and an interviewee. They'd set up an IM discussion and post the transcript, or a least the highlights of it.

I feel the IM is necessary to get quality follow-up questions.

I'd volunteer to be on either side of a trial run.
