It's New Age Week!

"
New Age music is music of various styles intended to create artistic inspiration, relaxation, and optimism. It is used by listeners for yoga, massage, meditation,[1] and reading as a method of stress management[2] or to create a peaceful atmosphere in their home or other environments, and is often associated with environmentalism and New Age spirituality.[1]"

I`m currently running two great threads on the forum, the first is the long running Album Wars which I`ve just recently taken over on. Check it out and place your votes and suggest new battles by sending me a PM.

The second is Metal Wars which was has only just been started and works exactly the same way as Album Wars, but as the name suggests it just covers metal albums. Again check it out and place your votes and PM me your album battle choices.

It's Romantic Week!

"
Western Classical Music that was initially developed in the period from 1815-1910. While predominantly practiced in Europe in the 19th century, Romantic music possesses stylistic qualities that make it more than a mere geographical or chronological category. Romantic music can be characterized by its expressive and emotional qualities, especially in terms of melody."

It's Southern Rock Week!

Southern rock is a subgenre of rock music, and genre of Americana. It developed in the Southern United States from rock and roll, country music, and blues, and is focused generally on electric guitar and vocals. Although it is unknown from where the term southern rock came, "many people feel that these important contributors to the development of rock and roll have been minimized in rock’s history."
