As was already established, while starting a new thread elsewhere asking to identify a song is unacceptable, the only real solution is to have the Name That Tune section to keep them all together and there's nothing to stop them from posting there. Yes, this is true and I agree with it entirely. It's also not right to have a situation where new members can't get anything out of the knowledge available to them on the forum.
And of course, if you don't want to post there, you don't have to!
