Although I don't know the exact circumstance, I think I can relate. Mods here are working for free for the community, but also for the largely faceless owners of the site who never show any appreciation for the work they do, never reward any enthusiasm and largely shoot down ideas until the whole thing becomes so predictable people stop bothering with fresh ideas around this place.

Thank you Richard both for being a poster I like and for having put so much work into the site.

Urban, I haven't a clue about what's gone on in the modcave, but I do know that you've given more to this site than anyone, and have clearly got nothing out of it.
I personally think that in the short time I've been here, you are to think for getting me into so many different kinds of music, you've always responded or corrected me no matter how naive, and I think that if you were too attached to somewhere which gave you no respect, then it is not worth staying.

I know for a fact that you have put in phenomenal time and effort over the years, and that's something I find really impressive.
