Yeah he does his mod gig (& I think he does it well imo) but he also seems cool, friendly and has a sense of humour (as well as other moderators here), but for some that is not enough. Nobody wants a bunch of pirhana on the mod team, but a team that actually takes steps BEFORE there's a cataclysmic hell occurring in any given thread, would be nice.


The mod team isn't supposed to wait until the dust settles then pick up the pieces, they're supposed to be involved in making sure discussions don't go south in the first place.

We have actually talked to you about this but what you're saying here is not constructive especially since you've had plenty of mod responses to your thoughts. I feel now you are complaining for the sake of complaining. Please go back and read my response earlier and you will see that while its easy for you to see when drama should be stopped, the line is not always clear. Like Urban has said some of the heated debate included some questions answered respectfully, even if it was to a "troll". Is it me or are you hinting that you could do a better job and want to be a mod?

You're trying to divert attention away from the fact it was a ridiculous ****storm by trying to make out that I'm some negative nancy naysaying the mod team. Its funny really, since in the last few periods we've had these threads, I've actually always been one of the few people actually bothering to defend you guys and your methods. That opinion has changed and I no longer think your system is working.

So why don't you tell me if any of the mods, you, others - Do you think your system is actually working in terms of stopping crap like last month's little hellhole, from happening?

I don't see anything wrong with how it was managed. Urban answered his questions for a few pages and there were many people who were sticking up for sopsych because he had repeatedly been called a troll which certain members didn't appreciate. So either way we would get complaints if we banned him and complaints if we didn't. Nearer to the end of the thread we decided for ourselves that the best thing for the community if sopsych had a week off to cool down. We don't ban people until we feel there is enough evidence of rule breaking and that the community is suffering because of said person.
