I do not understand what you mean here at all, as you are being completely semantical.

Offensive is a synonym for derogatory and I'm being dead serious, it's literally in the thesaurus under derogatory. I'm looking at right now.


Regardless, I agree with you YD that noob is without a doubt disparaging. I would know, I played Call of Duty everyday for two years in high school.

At the very least, it has NO positive correlations when used to describe others.
