How Should MB Be Moderated?

I'm guessing you were simply caught up in a cull. Often I go through the forum and highlight loads of spam posts and simply delete them all.

Seems like you're unwilling to accept this was a simple mistake, and instead want to blow it up out of all proportion as if the mods can't do their jobs.

Basically, you don't know what you're talking about son, and if you're that touchy, then it's probably just as well you didn't stick around, as you would not survive here.

Hey man, I started my journal and was here for a relatively long time before I left. And it was three years, tops! Anyway, I didn't complain about mods' behaviour and leave after one posting; it was a general air of smugness over the way people looked at their own music and down at mine that bugged me.

In any case, I had the operation and now I'm fine. I learned to see a world beyond myself and not be so thin-skinned, and unfortunately for you all, I came back.

I feel the poll was a very good idea, and I'm glad we had it, thanks to Tore.

People derailing conversations with moderator-sanctioned hostility is a main reason I feel the site will benefit from some changes in moderation policy. Some of these changes were voted for by the majority in this poll.

One important thing we learned from the poll is that the majority of poll voters feel that "the rules should be applied equally to all members (ex. rules apply equally to mods and users)" and mods should not be more lenient with regulars.
