Getting escorted to my Dad's place in my daughters new car she got last night, where I'll be wined and dined by a bunch of people I hardly know (except for my Dad). It's gonna be a hoot. You're allowed to come with, but you'll have to ride the hump. It's a Honda Civic.

If you somehow managed to morph into Margot Robbie, then sure.

RoxyRollah 08-25-2015 10:51 AM

HAY! I didn't even get to except the offer to share your hump.

Plenty of hump to go around. Sharing is caring.

RoxyRollah 08-25-2015 10:53 AM

Now hold on, when was the last time it was cleaned?

Plankton 08-25-2015 10:58 AM

I'm cleaning it right now.

Chula Vista 08-25-2015 11:08 AM

Ivory, Dove, or Irish Spring?

Is it rag time?

DwnWthVwls 08-25-2015 11:15 AM

Irish Spring? wtf.. who uses that shit?

Frownland 08-25-2015 11:16 AM

I use Irish Spring. Ivory is whack though.

Plankton 08-25-2015 11:35 AM

I just use a little spit. Shines it right up.

RoxyRollah 08-25-2015 12:07 PM

So if I accept your offer does that mean you are going to spit on me?

If someone is verbally attacking another member, or spewing spam all over the board, I appreciate the heads up since we're not always aware of everything that goes on here.

Vote Goat!

Good, let's keep it that way.
No offence Plankton but i don't want MB to become an overly PC forum. i understand some members sometimes can take things too far and perhaps deserve to be reported cause they'll ruin the vibe around here but it's your job as a mod to care about quality control around here not mine.

Besides, to me reporting a person is the same as a snitching on them and i grew up with the motto: "Snitches get stitches". It also bothers me when overly sensitive ppl set the standard of what other ppl should be allowed to say.

I don't mind when you mods enforce the rules because that's your job but i don't want to be your informant.

No offence taken, and I understand your viewpoint. I've been to prison, so believe me when I say I'm familiar. For me though, I'm really only concerned with inflammatory behavior. It can and will infect the board if it's not dealt with directly. Having someone point it out is actually a healthy act in the sense that they're protecting the quality of well being on the site. The mantra "Snitches get stitches" doesn't really apply in this situation.

Neither is saying You know say Daddy Snow me, I'm gonna blame a licky boom-boom down but that's just good advice.

Plankton 08-25-2015 02:38 PM

You'd rather jack off a mountain lion with a fist full a cockle burrs than mess with that?

Again, I believe the best way to deal with behaviour like that, at least in the first instance, is to engage with the person who is misbehaving. I know Roxy says some people don't like confrontation, but to be honest, newbies aside I don't see anyone here who holds that view. We're all adults and if we can't point out to someone that they're offending/attacking/upsetting us before we go reporting them, then there's something wrong here. I mean, honestly: if someone pushed you or called you a name in the street, are you going to stand up to them or call the cops? Anyone who is that sensitive really needs to rethink their reason for being here, in my view.

RoxyRollah 08-26-2015 06:03 AM

Bro. .... There are some members that are not in the loud mouth group of 20 the rule lounge.....come now I know you know this.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done with the reporting/not reporting discussion. Do whatever you feel is right.
