Damn, if I can get the resident racist of the forum to wage such a persistent campaign for my removal, I must be doing something right.

Surely, the old n-word (the good n-word) comes into play again here? If you banned or even warned everyone every time they used a slur or slagged someone off, when it's clearly in fun and they know the recipient is going to take it in that spirt, you'd either have a very uptight forum where nobody would even greet a passing wildfowl with a loud shout or you'd have
