Motherf*ckers, we do this sh*t for free. I don't know enough about my own grandmother to make a eulogy and I'm supposed to know whether or not you strangers are pieces of sh*t or not? Sh*t's hard. |

It ain't the end, this is a 3 piece documentary bitch!
How is anybody supposed to trust that function will be of any use when we have seen undeniably biased moderation? Edit: I just don't get how you have the same 3 people telling you how UNFAIR and BIASED moderation is and you guys are like "derka derka the WHOLE forum wants STRICT moderation, derka derka, can't make everybody happy, derka derka" No. It's 3 people saying that the moderation is unfair. Nobody wants to miss out on OH's jokes. |

Where is the mod bias theory coming from? Merit deserved the ban. I've known him for years. I'm surprised he hasn't been banned sooner but that's just the way it is. I don't think it has anything to do with bias. Anybody that has been here for a long time like I have were fully expecting a ban toward Merit at some point. This isn't like a random thing, it was coming. If I were a mod here I'd have banned him as well.

Typed a thing I decided not to post anyway, so here's a fluffy bunny instead:

There are many occasions, though, where people were baiting merit, people said horrendous things about merit, and when merit retaliated the mods came in and gave him a warning and stopped it, but only when HE retaliates. Like that time when he said he was going to put OH on ignore and OH said something along the lines of "So you're going to pretend I'm your son?" A small few members notice this, a small few members protest this bias and the moderators respond like, "Woah, what? You guys ALL want strict moderation now?" |

I think the mods have done a good job.
One week to six months is a huge jump though. And perma’s should be really rare for people who’ve been here years. I know I have a reputation as a monster but when I get a warning I do back the **** off because I really do like it here. As a former teacher I understand it like a kid could get really worked up and do some ****ed up **** but if I took him out in the hallway and he calmed down I let it go because we worked out a resolution. If the mods give me a warning I back off. I don’t care if I’m “right” I don’t get indignant. I want to keep up my hobby which is basically my journal and ****. Chula and MERIT may appear less disruptive than me or bat but we don’t make it personal and force the mod’s hand. We slink back into the corner and sit quietly making spitballs until the next dillweed needs some childish provocation. |

I'd also like to point out that the people that did see the post are having no problem accepting the ban. Just some food for thought. |

EDIT: Ok, so mods apparently did do something about that. When it's all happening in PM's, it makes it seem like nobody cares. But broadly speaking I'd still like to suggest that forum members dial down the male chest puffing a bit and basically be a bit nicer and respect some boundaries without mods having to step in. It shouldn't be necessary, but yeah, I know how crap other forums can get. But some are also way less toxic... |

For the same reasons?
You aren't seeing the point. The **** is aloud to happen until merit responds. That's when mods start modding. That is why people see a bias. |

So you're going to stick your heads up each other's asses and pretend like it doesn't happen for the sake of your own egos? I don't have a problem with it. I don't like merit, I think the bias is subtle and no where near as petty as it could be. You can't pretend like there isn't one though when multiple people, even some who don't like merit, have seen it.

We're not biased. We're busy. We clean up. It's like Bats and OH start the food fight but Merit and Chula are the ones still throwing sh*t when the teachers show up. Who do you think is going to get reprimanded first? I always read from the beginning and talk to everybody involved. Ask Bats how many PM's I send him. Stop thinking we live on this forum and see everything as it happens. |

Edit: In the case of Chula, I know I'm not supposed to talk about it because speculation on his mental health gets a faster response from mods than telling merit he's a bad father, but they are literally taking advantage of a mental illness to provoke a reaction. |
