That was really good. I'll have to check them out some more.

I find post rock is the best music to trip to...I listened to Mogwai while shrooming once and every song felt like I just won an epic battle.

Nice, love when that rolling bass comes in. Tried to check out some of their other stuff on YouTube but so far this song takes the cake.

Let's say, just hypothetically, that I really like Tortoise and want to hear more like that, but am sad that they haven't come out with a new alb—*wow. I sure didn't do my research on that one.

Annoyingly, I can't post links. Go to trts dot com if you like Tortoise to hear their new thing.

I used to be into them back in my post-rock phase a few years ago. I have a hunch that my mate's band might have done a gig with them too. He's played with Pelican, Genghis Tron and Frank Turner.

And I think it's about time I imposed Jakob on you all again.

^ Really wanted to check these guys out after you mentioned them on my profile. Wow, impressive. I love the last song, Saint, just beautiful. Bummed I missed out on seeing them live!

I finally got into Lift Yr Skinny Fists. It really demands your complete attention that one.

That was the entire basis for my review of that album... That and that is the most completely worthwhile experience of your life EVER. It's a jaw-dropping journey, especially Sleep.
