Oh well in that case they are no longer my favourites.

enemyat_thesix 04-17-2007 04:19 PM

good; that's what i thought. :D

i'm just a genre-stickler, that's all.

Calmest Chord 04-17-2007 05:08 PM

Im digging Slint a lot lately. They definitely take a while to understand, but they are amazing in the end.

cardboard adolescent 04-17-2007 05:18 PM

i fell in love with slint first time i heard them : )

for anyone more interested in classic post-rock:

tortoise
ui
talk talk
gastr del sol
bark psychosis
flying saucer attack
disco inferno
trans am
cul de sac

Trauma 04-17-2007 05:31 PM

Tortoise and Trans Am are tight.

enemyat_thesix 04-17-2007 09:54 PM

Tortoise is really IDM/prog-rock. They don't do loud/soft; they don't crescendo: they are not post-rock.

But you're right, they are tight.

PopIsDead 04-17-2007 09:57 PM

You and your genres.

enemyat_thesix 04-17-2007 10:01 PM

damn scrait. me likee sub-genres.

TheBig3 04-17-2007 11:01 PM

I waited all day for you filthy ****s to answer my queries and this is what I get, just some ego-satiating check list of a pretentious music sub-genre. I hope you burn in a pile of your own marvel comics.

sleepy jack 04-17-2007 11:12 PM
