I want to expand my pos-rock collection... any suggestions? Some of the bands I already have:
God Is An Astronaut
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
The Evpatoria Report
We Made God
Gifts From Enola
Tides From Nebula
This Will Destroy You
Russian Circles
Codes In The Clouds
Crippled Black Phoenix
Do Make Say Think
Ef
Explosions In The Sky
Yndi Halda
Red Sparrowes
Maudlin Of The Well
If These Trees Could Talk
Laura
Jakob
Please and thank you!
Some of these maybe aren't "pure" post-rock.
You have to listen to Ioseb. Their "The Ghost of 33" album is magnificent.
Also try Ioseb guitarist Daniel Loefgrens other band Suffocate For **** Sake. It isn't pure post-rock since it has post-hardcore and sludge influence too. It's awesome in my opinnion.
