Default Synthesizers

Perhaps the beginning of something far better in our world, perhaps not. What do you think.

If you want me to elaborate. You play a synthesizer, it has more expression as an instrument, you move people, peoples minds become engulfed in the flames of imagination, their future becomes better for that.

considering synthesizers have been around since the late 1800s and quite popular within modern music since the 1960s i'd hardly call them the 'beginning' of something far better in our world. maybe you haven't heard much synth stuff before last week but there are plenty of people who have - for decades.

plus how can you claim a synthetic device has more expression than its analog counterpart? does a robot have more emotions than a human?

good music, regardless of its method of creation, will move people and set their imaginations on fire. to attribute it to the type of instrument used is both folly and disrespectful to the musician's ability to shape the air around them into music and sound.

Yeah ok, your right of course... seeing as you know so much about it i bet you know where to go see a concert hall built around synthesized sound with abnormal amounts of amps, watts, and volts sent into the system right... and they are so prominent in this world too. The point being is that until it captures the "soul" of our species and there is an "abnormal" amount of movement behind it to see it's perpetuation continue, you are full of ****. Most likely assuming your some sort of genius with synthesized sound. You come at me like this device has not captured me in the deepest throws of passion, your a fool.
