Default Toby Driver's Tartar Lamb

Interesting chamber-rock project of the guy behind Maudlin of the Wall and Kayo Dot. Currently, there's a bid on to collect money from fans in order to record a second album under this project (in a similar manner to how motW's Part the Second was funded).

Along with discussions about this ensemble and the 2007 album 60 Metonymies, you guys can check out the Kickstart page for the 2nd album here and see what the benefits are for those interested in helping fund this potentially amazing record.

Tartar Lamb 2 — Kickstarter

So, let's get to talking!

I'm interested in this now. Seeing as I loved Kayo Dot's most recent work, I'm sure that the new Tartar Lamb will be from him in the same mindset. Probably going to donate soon. I'm going to get on getting the first one in a bit, too.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily the same mindset; Tartar Lamb is even more classical in nature than Kayo Dot's material, and a tad more minimalistic overall.

In any case, hope you enjoy their first album and thanks for donating for the 2nd one. I put in some cash as well a few days ago.

I just meant that for the second one, seeing as he just made Coyote (which I find amazing), he'll probably be on some sort of a winning streak... At least I hope so. I'm definitely going to support it to find out.
