You're goddamn right it is, probably.

Well, I'm doing due diligence by listening to grindy's clip, though at one hour long, I've taken a few breaks in it.

There are many sections or moods to Et Cetera's self-titled album, some more successful than others. What I assume is side one has a spoken-word track which I didn't like much, plus a drumming interlude which I felt went on too long. But there's some good bass/organ playing, a nice track featuring acoustic guitar and a long slow piece with sitar(?).
Now at 45 mins in we have one of several free-form bits, leading into some elec guitar which reminds me a little of Peter Green's End of the Game album.
Overall, I'd describe this album as exploratory jazz rather than Avant Garde, and it's definitely interesting enough to come back to imo - but first I'm going to see specifically what caught Goofle's attention, and hopefully learn in passing what instrument W Dauner plays.

Output is one of those LPs I grew up with too.
