I'd agree that Tago Mago is a good album to start with, Chula; it has the feel of a studio jam, which I imagine you'd enjoy. After that, here's a collection of MB threads I put together once:-

For a while I lived in a town 30 miles from London, and the countryside around the town was popular with rock stars who were buying their first mansion. I was friendly with a guy whose friend lived right near Paul Rodgers' house. This friend-of-a-friend used to feed PR's dogs when he was on tour and one night I was right there, sitting in a car outside PR's house while the guy went in to feed the dogs!
