Favourite song

For me, it's Pachelbels Canon. I also love Hungarian Rhapsody by Mozart.

i would haaave to say....
hmm wow for just single song i would say
.
Mozart - Fur Elise
.
but theres some good minuets within operas and stuff that i like ;)

This is nitpicky, but it was beaten into my head by every violin instructor I've ever had: it's only a song if it has words - otherwise it's a piece. That said, my favourite classial piece is probably Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
....
Also, Für Elise was written by Beethoven, not Mozart :)

[Apologies for nitpickiness, once again]

Thankyou for making the distinction between song and piece! I don't mind the nitpickiness. You're completely right. Also, nice piece choice!

I also have to add Moonlight Sonata.

Edgil 02-01-2004 07:14 PM

are you sure? beethoven's pieces are more.... hard and have less harmony whereas fur elise is very dainty and follows a pattern such as mozart would write, i could be wrong but hey **** beethoven he sucks ass lol

i guess i was wrong, oh well **** it i downloaded
Mozart - Fur Elise

so whatever lol

You can't have listened to much Beethoven... He can be very harmonic at times. And Für Elise was definately written by him; I've got it on CD. People on file sharing networks presist in mislabeling their files, it's just the way of the world.

I think that we can move on now.

Edgil 02-05-2004 08:06 AM

lets digress

Yeah, either way it is a damn good piece. :) One of my favorites as well.
