I still prefer Shallow Grave to The Wild Hunt. The latter may boast better individual songs, but the former is listenable from front to back whereas I just can't get into King Of Spain and Kids On The Run.

Great, great artist. I could listen to The Gardener all day.

He's fantastic! He's one of the only folk artists I've really gotten into. I prefer Shallow Grave to The Wild Hunt but both are fantastic.
The EP is pretty damn good too although I'd gotten it after Shallow Grave so I had already heard 2 of the tracks. The other 2 though: kickass |
Didn't even know there was a second album. Getting it right now.
|
Yeah both of his albums are great!
He is so reminiscent of Dylan it is scary. Anyone else here this? His voice is even kind of similar to me. |
His second>His first.

His Second=His First
I love both his albums very much, I just love his music and spent a long time being incredibly addicted to The Gardner and Where Do My Bluebird Fly? Hell, the entirety of Shallow Grave I have to give Wild Hunt a few more listens but it certainly is really good. One of my favorite Swedish finds. |

The Wild Hunt has really not grabbed my attention like Shallow Grave did.
I like it raw (to quote Ol' Dirty Bastard, rip) and his rough, off-kilter vocals on Shallow Grave really do it for me - The Wild Hunt seems like a more 'mature' effort which is disappointing. |
