Default Grits and Glamour

Grits and Glamour is the name of a new duo made up of veteran country stars Pam Tillis & Lorrie Morgan. The title of the album is "Dos Divas" & resulted from a tour they did together & requests for an album by fans.

Moshe !! I´d given you up for lost, so it´s a nice surprise to see you posting here again after so long. How have you been?

"Grits and Glamour" is a name that really suits the style of these two ladies and the song you chose is a well-crafted piece of fun. The words are very neat, aren´t they?

Hi Lisnaholic! Nice to be back. I've been through a rough patch. My mum died at the end of 2011 & that really knocked me out. I'm just getting back on my feet now. I had forgotten about this place but found it again by accident!

Wow, I´m sorry to hear that, Moshe. An emmotional blow like that can be difficult to recuperate from; I´ve seen it in some friends of mine in the last year or two as well.

Here, we are still bubbling along in our usual inconsequential way, of course, and your contributions are always welcome, so don´t lose us again, ok?

Sorry for your loss, Moshe. I lost both my parents over the span of year and lost touch with my friends at Music Banter. It took me about 2 years to return to the forum again and forum members are more supportive than I ever dreamed they would be.

Hi Gavin. It almost two years since my mother passed on. My brother died a couple of weeks later.
Thanks linsaholic and Gavin.
Music remains very important to me, & one of the things that has helped pull me through
