Pink Moon is simply a brilliant album...
I have troubles deciding if I like it more than Five Leaves Left... Both are amazing

Rolling Stone : Heath Ledger’s Nick Drake Obsession
Heath Ledger's Nick Drake 'suicide video' - Telegraph That would be pretty awesome to see Heath playing Nick Drake. I was unsure about how he would pull off the Joker, but he did a damn good job. If they could get him to look like Nick Drake...that would rock. |

Yeah, his death actually had some crazy allusions to Nick Drake's.

Yeah, Nick was the man. Such an intimidatingly unique talent in terms of songwriting. Pink Moon is probs my favourite of his albums (probably because a talent such as his thrives best without the interposition of external influences, although the strings and band accompaniment on Five Leaves also worked well) and has additionally been a good source of comfort for me in times of loneliness and despair.
I love his voice, it sounds like he's singing in your ear or summat. |
