I wish I lived somewhere where I could claim I'm on the free dental care system and then if I get caught would still only have to pay $200. That sounds like fucking Fantasyland.

I know you get all huffy about cheating the system. But you don't have to worry about me and Bat. That option ain't open. When I was in my 20's you could go to the dentist and then skip out on the bill, which I did back then, but those days are long gone.

Seriously, medical care should be universal, cause not dying of whatever should not be the benefit of the wealthy, and dental care probably should too, cause having a missing tooth basically turns you into someone who can only get hired by Burger King anyway. Dental care unless you are militant about your teeth can legitimately be a barrier between lower and middle class. I mean it's not as important as actual medical care, but it's still pretty ****ing important.

And regardless of your position on that I will gladly **** over the government so that I have my teeth. **** every one of your laws I want my teeth.

Honestly man, unless you can afford a **** ton of follow up work I wouldn't let them start poking around up there. Just brush and floss and use listerine everyday. You go and they're just going to find a bunch of **** you can't afford to fix, it'll get all in your head... you're better off just keeping your head in the sand. You go and I guarantee they're going to tell you you need 2-3 grand worth of this and that. Then what're you gonna do. Nothing but get paranoid about it when you smoke too much weed.

If I can get a couple fillings then I can live basically. It's better than nothing cause the way I'm going with my ****ty habits I'm just biding time till a root canal even if I brush and floss twice a day for the rest of my life. The damage is done and I can feel the pain in some of my teeth at 31. If I can stave off that then I'll be a psychopath with brushing and flossing with all those dentist horror stories, but I legit think I won't keep at least two of my teeth without a couple fillings at the very least. I suspect that they're just going to be written off. I hate to be a leech on my family but in this instance I just want to keep my ****ing god damn teeth.

The only way we're ever going to get this **** changed is if we're willing to get violent. One of my friends knocked some teeth out falling down drunk. She had dental insurance. Still, her out of pocket was ten grand. Ten grand. That's a life wrecker.

Holy ****. Just to put teeth in your head? I get that ****'s expensive and dentists are highly trained, but ten grand should pay for the highest quality fake teeth in your entire head and new eyes as well. That's ****ing criminal.

Like I said, I hate trying to be a leech, but god damn I want to keep my teeth. If I can be a leech **** about one thing, it's my teeth. A single root canal will cost $2000. You go in for the check up and cleaning. They start with a mandatory x-ray thing that's $100 not covered. Then they need a follow up to ($300) look at some ****. Then the dentist says he can't do it but his oral surgeon buddy can. Another $300 just for him to tell you it's $900 for the root canal. Plus, you probably got a couple fillings along the way and if you need a crown goodbye to another $1000.
