The judge, in this case a man, told her she should have used one of the men's facilities rather than resorting to urinating in public - an offence known as "wildplassen" in Dutch.

My new favorite word.

Surprised it went to court and she got fined but I don't know the Dutch police or legal system.

No real point to this it just reminded me of it.

On my 18th birthday on the way home from the pub I needed the toilet so I pissed in the street. Literally as soon as my fly was done up a police car appeared, they pulled over and asked me what was up.

They just told me to watch how I go and off I went

Let her go with a warning? Why? Cops are so quick to fine people in NYC for public urination. Mostly guys and they don't even have public urinals like in that country. So I can understand why they would still follow through. You have public urinals and you still won't use them you lucky fuck. We have to dip into stores to use their bathrooms and they usually want you to buy something before you can use the bathroom.

True, I wish NY would just work on that simple issue of public urinals but noooo they rather work on getting wifi on the subway while I'm dipping into whatever side alley I can find which isn't easy just to take a leak and hope that a cop doesn't see me. The first time a cop stops me for that I'm just going to claim I have a weak bladder or some kind of medical condition.
