Why would beards be any germier than scalps and head hair? Also what are these bearded guys from the study like? If they just can't be bothered to take care of themselves then that's different to the guys who are oiling, balming, washing and blow drying regularly. I would expect such men to have germier faces but they would have germier fingernails and hands (which they then rub through their beards?) bellends and mouths as well (bet they don't floss).

I'm not sure about this to be honest.

Keep on bearding I say.

I've heard that before and I don't see why you'd touch your face more than your head. I don't touch mine other than when I wash or use balm because I don't want to mess it up or pull hairs out.
