I'd say yea cause each time a president overreaches their power it sets a precedent for the ones to follow.

Bush followed Clinton. Obama followed Bush. Trump followed Obama. And the trend was for the present to become more and more powerful.

The current precedents being set by Trump tend to trend towards the path to become a corrupt athuoritarian mafia state like Russia

man I was saying the same boy cried wolf shut during the election when the scandals were dissing John McCain and Muslims. Now it's clear as day extortion. With 1 of the Juliani associates who were arrested flipping on Juliani. Will Juliani fall on his sword for trump? Who knows. This **** is unpredictable. But I'd tend to think not. With him waving his phone around on TV and reminding people he was working under orders from the white house.

It's definitely significant but I just get bored of breathless declarations of every development being the nail in the coffin for Trump's presidency and following.

That said I don't think that the government is going to set that precedent for holding itself accountable for its actions, it's too risky for all those involved.

My money is on Mulvaney flipping. He's in a MAJOR hot seat right now.

You're still new to this side of the fence so give it time.

I get bored of it too.... I just think the way things have been since the last election are so polarized it's hard to spot what is going to be an actual scandal... But that doesn't mean there are none

not really... I jumped ship within his first year out of sheer annoyance at having to defend every dumb thing he said to DJchameleon, who I would argue with on Skype. I was really only ever in it for the excitement of the campaign. Once he became prez I quickly grew bored of him.
