Alabama has no statute of limitations on the sexual assault of people younger than 16.

Have you ever met a child? They're not very intelligent, you see. This is why we have a ****load of safeguards to make sure that the little mother****ers don't get killed.

Chula Vista 11-14-2017 09:30 AM

I just want to see Roy Moore's political career destroyed. Dude's been a trainwreck in regards to the constitution for years.

Depends on what age they are. From the time you're in school you're taught to look, listen, wait. Basic Green Cross Code, man. I agree the truck driver should have slowed down, but he was on the other side of the road.

Also, if Batty was in power you can guarantee that his road safety code would be "Close your eyes and run like ****, kids! It's FUN!"

Our curricula is repetitive ad nauseum because we can't smack simple ideas like don't die into those dumb bastards' brains. That kind of faith is naive. Plus those kids look about kindergarten aged.

Best to get them killed while they're young, yes?

Un-****ing-believable.

Brandon Mosely:

$1,000 says this dude diddled his little sister a few decades ago.

Also, most hilarious comb over ever.

Jesus freak: commit a sin and ask God to forgive you = free pass for the rest of your life.

Atheist: commit a crime and go the **** to jail.

In hindsight, the x-files should have done a mini-series about bible belt yokels.

Happy Neo?

About what you said? No. Not really, because the law is suppose to be blind justice for all with no preferential treatment based on occupation (such as law enforcement) race, ethnicity, color of skin or religion or creed etc etc. The rule of law applies to everyone and should not make exemptions.

You think asking for God's forgiveness is some get out of jail free card, well you're wrong. Asking for God's forgiveness in no way entails that anyone else will forgive you, nor does it exempt you from justice.

I really do not know the specifics U.S. Senate, Judge Roy Moore incident. I am not commenting on Judge Moore, I am only speaking in general. No one can undo the past. So when people come to an understanding what they did was wrong, and regret what they did, then they make their peace with God. But that does not erase history, nor does it erase what they did. They will still have a debt to society to pay.

I don't believe that (thought you knew me by now) - but a huge number of Christian bible thumpers do. It's the basis for most of those in Alabama who are going to vote for Roy Moore no matter what.

Re: Moore - this is how bad it is for him.

- Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell says he should drop out.
- Speaker of the House Paul Ryan says he should drop out.
- Dozens of GOP senators say he should drop out.
- The RNC has stopped all funding to his campaign.

OccultHawk 11-14-2017 08:19 PM

I can’t say for sure but having the misfortune to know as much about Alabama as I do all those things that make him look like an unfortunate outsider may help him.

I actually think the last woman who came forward and read that statement about Moore pushing her head into her crotch is straight up lying. Her entire statement seemed like a big ****ing act to me. I don’t care, though. **** him. By any means necessary.

Pretty sure some of that was Gloria Allred's coaching. I believe her though.

The yearbook comment and signature are pretty damning.

Did you hear the story today about the mid 80s mall employee who came out and said that Roy Moore was on the mall's banned list because of his stalking of teen girls?

OccultHawk 11-14-2017 09:41 PM

That’s hilarious. That Auburn hat seals the deal.

THAT was believable. I think you might have to be from the south to get how ****ing funny that is.

Unless it's how much he tries to blame his answer on the reporter or how uncomfortable he is, then probably.

Sometimes I think Gloria Allred is secretly a Republican. She has to know by now that every time she grandstands on an issue, it stops the scandal dead in its tracks. Look what happened in the Bernie Fine case at Syracuse a few years ago that Allred put her nose in (the witch hunt against coaches after the Jerry Sandusky scandal). He got fired but they never prosecuted him.

Last night an "outraged" Sean Hannity said during his show that he's giving Roy Moore 24 hours to convince him of his innocence - otherwise he's going to call for him to step down.

Jeepers. When you're a bible belt republican and you lose Hannity?

The Wow I Can't Believe That I'm not hearing about that News Story Thread:

Remember when all those intrepid journalists were reporting live from Puerto Rico? Safe to assume that the've all gone home, because I don't see anyone reporting updates on the situation there now.

If you're interested, This is from a Newsweek article dated 6 November:-

Quote:

Nearly two months after the Category 4 Hurricane Maria barrelled into Puerto Rico, 60 percent of Puerto Ricans still don’t have power.

That number temporarily surged to 80 percent on Thursday morning, when a power line repaired by Whitefish Energy failed—wiping out power for millions of Puerto Ricans, reported BuzzFeed. Friday morning, the number appeared to have rebounded back to 60 percent without power, according to Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority’s status update.

Around one in five Puerto Ricans still don’t have water, according to PREPA. A lack of cell phone service plagues one in 10 and around 15 percent of gas stations are still closed.
Two months is an awful long time to have no electricity, but it's not a dramatic enough dilemma to catch media attention any longer. Bad luck, Puerto Rico. :(

Well if youre fine with that why were you so pissed at Marco Rubio when he did it? The man clearly cannot handle being the president.

You need the back story.

Rubio a bit dry and nervous during his GOP response to Obama's state of the union.

Trump mocking the **** out of Rubio during the GOP campaign.

Karma is a bitch.

I read the backstory. Tit for tat. It's still a ****ing stupid thing to be "blowing up social media" about, no?

Everyone loves seeing a bully being cut down to size. Especially when the bully is a "social media" whore.

And it's more of a comedic sidebar than a main news story.
