I know that Allahu Akbar means "god is greater". And I know it is used in moments of happiness. Not just bombing people. I've read the Qur'an etc etc.

But I'm not talking about that right now. I'm talking about perception. If you killed people Stateside but you're a gay Muslim apostate who doesn't say you killed them because they're infidels, how would people construe that you are, indeed, Muslim and killed in the name of religion?
