Michael Jackson owned the world for a number of years. The day after his Grammy performance Fred Astaire (look him up) called Michael to tell him he was blown away.

As far as Pop goes, I'd say Michael Jackson is one of them. Paul Simon's my number 1 guy for folk and pop. A close second may be Beach Boys. For pop rock, Fleetwood Mac, U2, Elton John, and Weezer are some prime choices for me.

What about them? Purple Rain's his best. I'm saying that there are at least two Michael Jackson albums that beat Prince's music.
