A) what does it achieve (if you expect it to get you something)? and B) who cares? They're yesterday's news, soon forgotten and most likely all you'll do is piss off the current holder of the office. Not only that, you may (if you fail to kill them) inadvertently give them free publicity they would never otherwise have had at that stage of their life. Let them fade into obscurity.
