You mean more like The Donald????

The whole "crook" and "lock her up" rhetoric swayed too many people at the last minute, along with the leaked emails and people actually believing the snake oilsman's ****.

I don't think anybody should be more like you, Don.

She was a poorly programmed robot. If they had entered in some quasi-emotional sequences in there she would have won. Like if she said what that news story was about to Trump's face on the debate stage, she likely would have won the respect of many people who didn't vote for her. She showed that she cannot act in the moment due to her political mindset, which is fine in some ways but reflects very poorly on a presidential candidate. Even a bad reaction would be something, and that's better than just pretending that nothing is wrong.

That certainly didn't help, but it wasn't the reason she lost. Everyone saw her campaign (rightly, I think) as "business as usual" and assumed that basically they were voting Bill back in to the White House. What? Did you think he'd restrict himself to such decisions as what carpet should be in the Oval Office? She was arrogant, overconfident to the point of well, fatally underestimating the malleability of the voters, didn't campaign where she should, campaigned where she shouldn't have, and basically gave the impression (again, turned out to be the right one) that she thought she would just walk the election. It was a foregone conclusion, so why bother? Except of course that it wasn't.

If people thought they were voting Bill in, she probably would have won tbh.

Disagree. She was leading in all of the polls by a healthy margin right up until the final weeks. The combination of Trump promising he'd repeal Obamacare on Day 1 in office, that Mexico was going to pay for the wall, that he'd ban Muslims, and that he was going to drain the swamp and bring real change to Washington, coupled with his constant "crooked Hillary" and "lock her up", which conveniently was followed by all of the leaked DNC and Hillary emails - and then Mueller going against all proper protocol and announcing 10 days before the election that he was re-opening the inverstigation into her was a perfect storm to cause just enough people to change their minds at the last second.

Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania - 3 states that hadn't voted republican in almost 30 years - gave Trump the electoral win.

He won Wisconsin by 0.77% of the vote, Pennsylvania by 0.72%, and Michigan by only 0.23%.

Face it, a lot of angry older white folks who normally vote for the Democrat candidate really believed that Trump was going to be their Messiah and "Make America Great" again (still haven't figured out what that means).

Clinton would have wiped the floor with Rubio, Cruz, Kasich, etc. But Trump came along and promised the world and just enough people were gullible enough to believe him and his bravado.

Clinton didn't so much lose as much as Trump barely edged out a win by razor thin margins.

I'll be honest: I didn't follow much of the election until election night, so I'll defer to your wisdom. However, the fact that the Trump camp said before voting began that night that if they won it would be a "miracle" seems to indicate that the Clinton faction believed they had it all wrapped up.
