I agree that never everyone may agree with his positions but he still represents the state like it or not. Texas is also a red state and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I understand the system and they way it works. My own political leanings aren't cut and dry/black and white.

So I guess you would also be equally nonplussed if someone claimed that your state governor's particular leanings represented the totality of you and all your statesmen's perspectives?

What argument? I stated earlier that I agree with you on view that one politician doesn't always hold the same views as his constituency.

Just out of curiosity, how long exactly did you live there? What age were you when you moved away? How much interaction have you actually had with people from Texas?
