Yep, I genuinely think it's hilarious that someone can boast enlightment and still so be biased in such an unnuanced way.

This coming from the guy who doesn't think it's likely the US government would engage in false flag operations to make billions of dollars and oil. :tramp:

I strive for honesty more than neutrality.

Yes neonazis are intolerant, but here's the scenario and why you should invest in reading lessons.

Q: what made this girl date a neonazi?
Me: her parents were social activists which probably means that they're left leaning. She probably swung hard in the other direction in standard teenage rebellion form.
You: how can being too tolerant cause someone to rebel? (Implied)

Your response implies that you largely define the left and right by their tolerance. There is some validity to that in their platforms, but to pose it as such is just lol. That **** ain't inherent and my idea was that she could have been rebelling against her parents as opposed to strictly their ideology.

^I think that is a pretty reasonable take tbh.

I also remember reading something about the kid being "good at history and explaining how the jews were partially to blame", so she could have just fallen into the trap of teenage gullibility or whatever you want to call it. When someone you trust introduces you to new ideas you're naive about it's pretty common to take them at their word (since modern education doesn't teach you how to think or skepticism). Honestly, I haven't really been following the story, so sorry if that's a stupid way to assess the situation.

It's like the inverse of when you learn about what Christopher Columbus really was.

I thought this too. If she's in a more liberal area then it's likely that she wouldn't recognize those talking points and might just interpret it as him being intelligent. This one is much more difficult to determine than rebellion so I didn't bring it up initially.

The difference is that one side was carrying burning objects (lol that this isn't considered a terroristic threat of violence) and wanting to take away other humans' basic rights. Nazis and fascism are a bull**** ideology based on nothing more than the basic human instinct to attack anything that's difference. Refusing to take a hard stand I fear will eventually result in something not unlike what we've seen before, and possibly worse.

The "left" as the media portrays is the only side that's doing anything for the people at this point, and it's absolutely hilarious that the right claims to be anything other than a tool for the corporate oligarchy. They say they're conservative and they're for small government, but they spend the most money and most of it's on the military and police lol. Bush spent more money on two policies than any other president in history, but he's a conservative?

I'm a conservative who believes in free speech, I'd vote for Sanders before any of these jokers, and Trump is the worst of the worst. If the couple hurt this little *******'s feelings by telling him he wasn't going to be coming anywhere near their daughter and he snapped enough to kill them, then I'd say their judgment was pretty damn accurate and may have saved her life. You people are ****ing twisted sometimes.

I think that what Trump said was dumb as ****. Not sure what you're on about, especially with the implication that I was participating in unjustifies moral equivalency.

Also lol @ American libs being against oligarchy. Oligarchy got liberal and conservative politicians alike their jobs. It ain't going away soon.

You all spent like 3 pages saying that the couple who got killed by some Nazi **** may have somehow earned what happened to them. Not hard to understand.
