It’s a fad.

Simultaneous increase in selective awareness and isolation.

No it's not? You need a gun to shoot somebody. Obviously you require someone willing to kill to fire the gun, but you are always going to have people in a country of millions who want to kill others so having firearms available is insane imo.

What does my head in with it all is not really the fact that the gun laws won't change, its how vehemently a lot of people oppose it, and seem genuinely offended by it.

I’ll take 20 killed by a shooter over one face permanently mangled in one of your crazy acid attacks. Assault rifles leave carnage, no doubt, but melting someone’s face with sulphuric acid is some serious next level ****.

For a large portion of gun owners it's the fear of a slippery slope domino effect. They feel like even giving an inch to increased gun control will ultimately lead to the gubment taking away their guns. And they are extremely zealous about that fear.

And then you have folks like the NRA, Ted Nugent, Alex Jones, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and most of the talking heads over on Fox, stoking those fears on a daily basis.

(can't wait to hear Jone's latest False Flag theory...... )

And let's not forget that one of the biggest lobbies on Capital Hill is the NRA, which basically represents all of the major gun and ammunition manufacturers.

Go to Google Images and search for "Gunshot wounds head".

Like, you totally over simplify **** by making it just a gun issue, and probably assume I'm pro guns just because I don't.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

I read it was the 18th US school shooting of this year, and we're in mid February ffs! Of course, this one isn't going to change anything either. Why would it. USA loves guns more than children.

It's true what Lucem says; that it's not just a gun issue, but come on...

We have mentally ill people in the UK.

US gun murder rate is 90 times that of the UK.
We don't have 13k gun murders per year.

It's a gun issue.
